Tri2O Triathlon Club was founded in 2010 and from humble beginnings with only 25 members and 1 coach in the first year the Club has grown exponentially, with now in excess of 200 members (more than a third of whom are female members) and 13 coaches.
Jennie Jones – Head Coach. British Triathlon Level 2 Coach. As of 2014, Jennie is a stalwart of our Friday and Wednesday swim sessions. Jennie is also a Personal Trainer and teaches spin sessions throughout the week. Her spin classes need to be heard to be believed (she’s quite loud!)
Clive Alderson – British Triathlon Level 3 Coach. Clive is the founding father of the Club (certainly in coaching terms!) and can be found regularly leading our Friday swim session. Clive finally achieved his dream of qualifying for Kona in 2014, and very proud we are too!
Gareth Sylvester-Bradley Level 1
Dom Dos Remedios – British Triathlon Level 3 Coach. Dom was voted the Triathlon England Participation Coach of the Year for 2014, which was in large part for his work developing Tri2O since its inception.
Kevin Evely – British Triathlon Level 2 Coach.
Callum Hughes – British Triathlon Level 2 Coach. Alongside his coaching, Callum is also an expert Retul Bike Fitter.
Tim Challinor – British Triathlon Level 2 Coach. Tim is also a talented Ironman athlete with some notable results in big European races.
We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic new coaches. If you’re interested in joining the coaching team, please contact us; there may be subsidised funding available for obtaining BTF coaching qualifications.
